Tempo Storm and Misfits have secured spots in the North American promotion stage for Esports Championship Series (ECS) Season 4 via the Development League. The former paiN team, who joined the ranks of Tempo Storm in August, topped the Development League with a 4-3-0 record, finishing one point above second-placed side Misfits. Sean "seang@res" Gares's men picked up a 2-0 victory over Rudy's Players Club on the final day of the tournament, which saw them leapfrog Complexity into second place and the promotion zone. Running on September 23-24, the ECS promotion stage will pit the top teams of the Development League against the bottom two sides of ECS Season 3, Luminosity and Ghost.
